Okay, finally received the go-ahead on meds to treat SIBO. Would greatly appreciate hearing others’ experiences and tips with this and having an idea of what to expect.

I’ve read that SIBO can arise from hormonal changes, so I thought I’d post here as well. I finally received the go-ahead on meds to treat SIBO. Would greatly appreciate hearing others’ experiences, tips, what to expect, anything else that helped in this process.

Curious how many here are having to take bowel motility meds/laxatives regularly, and, how you stay properly hydrated?

As I’m still trying to get answers on health issues, I’m very curious to know how many here found that their constipation was due to SIBO? Also, are doctors willing to try treatment without the test?

So frustrated! Still constipated despite meds, daily BMs, and plenty of water and being active. Had another appointment today that didn’t really give any answers.

Not even sure it’s a PF issue, but ended up in ER for urinary retention after finishing first split dose of colonoscopy prep.
This is a subreddit to raise awareness and offer support for people with PFD. Currently in the ER due to urinary retention several hours after finishing my first split dose of colonoscopy prep. Has this happened to anyone else?? Recently diagnosed with HSD.

At r/colonoscopy, we support each other through the sometimes difficult process of getting a colonoscopy done. We can help with prep questions and answer questions about the procedure itself.
